Tuesday 3rd September

6 - 8pm: Welcome Reception with live music by Stanza

Wednesday 4th September

8am: Summit Day 1 at Seating Matters beginning with company wide Morning Meeting

11:30am: Factory Tour

5pm - 8pm: BBQ & Drinks with music by Hannah Ferguson

Thursday 5th September

6:30am: Fun Walk/Run at Roe Valley Country Park (meeting in the back carpark of Roe Park Resort)

9am: Summit Day 2 at Seating Matters

3pm: Depart Seating Matters for free time

6:30pm - 1am: Closing Banquet at The Guidlhall, L.Derry

Accommodation

The Roe Park Resort will be the location for our opening drinks reception on Tuesday 3 September at 6pm when we look forward to giving you a warm welcome to Northern Ireland.

We will be running a shuttle service from the Roe Park Resort to the various activities noted throughout the programme during the Wednesday and Thursday of the summit (approximately 15 mins journey time.)

Factory Tour

During Day 1 visitors will experience our world-famous Lean Made Simple tour!

Lasting approximately 2 hours, guests will rotate around Seating Matters factory in groups through the different departments providing you with an insight into how lean principles are integrated into our daily operations.

The tour will provide our sales team with an understanding of how the chairs are made, allow you to meet the skilled team who make them and also give you the opportunity to ask questions and provide improvement ideas!

Lo & Slow BBQ

On the Wednesday evening night attendees will be treated to a delightful American BBQ experience, the evening will be very relaxed with the chance to catch up with your peers!

The menu features a robust selection that caters to diverse palates: the hearty Smash Burger, a crowd-pleaser with its juicy, flavorful patty; Chicken Loaded Fries, a savory indulgence perfect for comfort food lovers; and a vibrant vegan option of Falafel over Fries, ensuring everyone finds something to savor. This evening promises not only culinary delights but also an opportunity for guests to relax and connect in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Fun Walk/Run

On the Thursday morning we invite you to watch the sunrise and take part in our Fun Run/Walk of the beautiful Roe Valley Country Park on the doorstep of the hotel grounds!

Organised by our team members Kyle and Beverley there will be two routes available; 3km and 5km, to cater for differing levels of ability.

Make sure to bring comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking or running.

Closing Banquet

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we bring Seating Matters Global Summit to a grand close with a Banquet at the iconic Guildhall in Derry/Londonderry on the evening of Thursday 5th September!

The historic Guildhall, renowned for its stunning architecture and rich heritage, will provide a magnificent backdrop for our celebration. Guests will be treated to a delectable three-course meal and live music by the talented band Stout. For the Closing Banquet we advise Semi Formal/Cocktail attire.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where is the best airport to fly to?

    City of Derry airport is the closest to Roe Park Resort and Seating Matters with the transfer time of approximately 15 minutes. However, the airport is very small with only a few routes and is most commonly used with flights connecting through London.

    Belfast International airport is around 70 minutes from the factory.

    Belfast City airport is a smaller regional airport, approximately an 80 minute drive.

    Dublin airport will have the most options for international flights, but is approximately 3.5 hours from the hotel and factory. There is a public bus transfer option if you choose a Dublin flight.

  • Will meals be provided during the summit?

    Yes, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be included on the Wednesday and Thursday. Additionally, there will be a special closing banquet featuring a three-course meal at the iconic Guildhall in Derry/Londonderry on the final evening.

    During the welcome reception light hors d'oevres will be served, if guests wish to receive a full meal they can make dinner reservations directly with the Roe Park Resort for their delicious Coach House restaurant or the Seating Matters team can make other local recommendations.

  • How can I stay updated on any changes or additional information about the summit?

    We will keep all guests informed through email updates or you can contact our Event team at marketing@seatingmatters.com. We will also continue to update this page with the latest information.

  • What should I do if I have dietary restrictions or special requirements?

    Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or special requirements during the registration process, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs, if you have already completed the process please let Alison know by emailing marketing@seatingmatters.com.

  • Will there be opportunities for networking?

    Absolutely! The summit is designed to foster networking among our global team. There will be several dedicated networking sessions, including the welcome reception and the closing banquet.

  • Is there transportation available to and from the venue?

    Limavady is easily accessible by car and public transport. Shuttle services from the Roe Park Resort to the various activities will be available on the Wednesday and Thursday. Detailed transportation information will be shared with attendees before the event.

  • What should I bring to the summit?

    Attendees are encouraged to bring business casual attire for the daily sessions and comfortable clothing for the activities. Don't forget to bring your business cards for networking and a notepad or device for taking notes. For the Closing Banquet we advise Semi Formal/Cocktail attire.

  • I'm travelling with my partner

    If you are travelling with your partner, we would ask that they also complete the registration form, informing us of which activities they would like to join you for and if they have any dietary requirements we should be aware of.     The conference itself will be a mix of best practice, inspirational and keynote sessions. We have some exciting speakers lined up to discuss topics such implementing new technology into your business, and scaling techniques.
