Envelo

Providing pressure redistribution, the Envelo is an excellent standard issue cushion which should meet the needs of most clients. The Envelo is composed of one layer of high performance memory foam and one layer of high density foam, providing comfort and stability to the pelvis whilst allowing for immersion and envelopment.

Envelo Plus

Contoured and castellated for comfort, the Envelo Plus provides deep envelopment and redistributes high pressure evenly. Envelo Plus is an excellent upgrade to our standard cushion and is suitable for patients requiring an extra level of comfort and envelopment. The Envelo Plus is composed of three layers; high performance castellated memory foam, an additional layer of high performance memory foam which contours to the pelvic well in the base layer, and a dense base layer of foam with a pelvic well, providing stability to the pelvis.

Envelo Gel

Constructed from a combination of anatomically contoured cooling gel and viscoelastic foam, giving weight distribution and seating stability for those clients who require increased pressure redistribution or sit for longer periods of time. The Envelo Gel cushion is composed of four layers; clear gel layer which allows for a higher level of immersion and envelopment for the ischial tuberosities (ITs) and helps regulate micro-climate, a green gel layer, providing a cooling effect, a middle layer combined of fast and slow recovery foam, giving excellent pressure redistribution, and a base layer of foam providing stability to the pelvis.

4 Braked Castors on Chair

To help keep the chair stationary, 4 braked castors can be added to the chair frame at time of ordering in retrospect. Brakes can be engaged from the front or the back of the chair.

Centerline

Centerline

Moving patients around hospitals or care facilities can be a very physical task, with occupational injuries becoming an increasing burden on healthcare providers.

Centerline is a retrofittable device that positions a suspension castor underneath the chair’s centre of mass and minimises sideways movement when pushing a patient in a straight line or around corners and is ideal for Bariatric Sorrento.

Concave Head Support

When you are unable to support your neck and head, causing your head to fall to the side, it can result in pain and affect your posture and sitting balance, potentially leading to fixed contractures.

Our concave head pillow provides support for the head and neck and helps to maintain a midline position even when sleeping or in patients with low muscle tone.

Handset Holder

When there is a need for independence, the handset holder keeps the handset within easy reach, allowing the user to easily reposition themselves from within the chair.

Horse Shoe Head Pillow

When you are unable to support your neck and head, causing your head to fall to the side or you have a slight kyphotic posture it can result in pain and affect your posture and sitting balance.

Our horse shoe head pillow provides support for the head, neck and upper back and helps to maintain a midline position even when sleeping or in patients with low muscle tone.

Lateral Back

The Lateral Back ensures a midline sitting positioning that is achieved through 2 fibre filled cushions that further supports the spine, allowing you to sit comfortably for longer periods.

Lateral Supports

When you have low muscle tone or have conditions such as Scoliosis in the spine, it can be difficult to sit upright which may lead to discomfort, pain and inability to sit for long periods.

Our lateral supports provide additional support for the body, accommodating scoliosis and may allow sitting for extended periods of time and increase comfort

Leg Laterals

When your legs abduct or externally rotate, there is an increased risk of injury to the legs and feet.

Our leg laterals protect the feet from injury or objects in the path of chair movement, while helping to support the feet on the footplate.

Legrest Wedge

When you suffer from oedema or swelling in the lower limbs, it may be uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time.

Our legrest wedge allows the chair user to elevate their legs higher than normal which may alleviate discomfort and assist in the reduction of swelling.

Ramped Seat Cushion

If you are continuously sliding from your chair, this increases your risk of falls and causes shear and friction which can lead to pressure injuries

The ramped seat cushion is an angled seat cushion, increasing the angle of the seat base, discouraging sliding from the seat.

Padded Arm Covers

When seated, if your seat width is not correct, it can be difficult to maintain mid-line posture resulting in discomfort, pain and an inability to sit for long periods of time. These padded arm covers further reduce the width of the chair to accommodate users with particularly narrow hip widths, allowing the body to be fully supported.

The amount of padding is variable and these can be removed to suit the needs of multiple users.

Padded Footplate

When your seat-to-footplate height is incorrect, it may cause sliding from the chair, increasing your risk of falls and shear and friction.

Padding can be incorporated into the footplate of the chair for to accommodate or improve foot position or to further decrease the seat-to-footplate height for individual users, as well as additional pressure management.

Pommel

A detachable pommel that is used to ensure your knees are comfortable and protected from pinching or rubbing together.

Positioning Harness

Kinetic Balance Positioning Harness is constructed from neoprene that provides further support, comfort and excellent upper body stability whilst ensuring functional mobility.
